Join us for a conversation with Anton M. Lewis, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Accounting at Valparaiso University College of Business.
According to the most recent AICPA Trends report, the number of minorities hired into accounting and finance positions from 2013 to 2021 has steadily increased, however, the hiring of Black students and graduates dropped from 8% to 5% over that same period. This despite the fact that the number of Black students completing accounting degrees (bachelor’s & master’s combined) hasn’t significantly changed since 2013.
In this webinar, Dr. Lewis investigates the experience of Black accountants in the professions and works to develop a conceptual framework of multicultural diversity. Join us as he shares his findings and insights learned through his research. We hope you join the conversation!
